Make a long list of all the needed or desired tools and supplies before preparing for any upcoming college course. Preparing everything you need before going to college so you do not have to ask your parents for help all the time. This is especially something to do if your classes aren’t that close to home.
At school, keep a water bottle close. Remain hydrated all day. Be especially aware of your hydration if you are attending back-to-back classes. You will be able to remain focused and alert if you drink water during the day. The sheer number of water fountains these days allow more ease in refilling water bottles.
Set realistic goals when you schedule you work and classes. If mornings aren’t your cup of tea, you may want to rethink registering for a tough course that meets first thing in the morning. Take a good look at your natural hours and make your schedule based on that.
Always maintain a healthy diet. There’s nothing fun about the freshman 15! Try to remain aware of the foods you are consuming regularly. Try not to eat too many on the go foods like pizza or fast food. While it may seem like a cheap and quick option, you won’t be getting the nutrients that your body requires.
Don’t believe the movies! There’s more to college than partying! Make sure to prioritize what is important from what is just fun. Use the tips you just read to do that and succeed in college.
